The End of Angry Foreigner (videos gone)

I’ve tried speaking up about it for a long time, but people didn’t take me seriously. Sadly it seems I invested too much in my channel, and made personal sacrifices that didn’t turn out into rewards.

I never recovered after being banned on Patreon, since most supporters left and didn’t come back. I’ve been told that they were “too lazy” to sign up on a new website. Not my words, but the words from comments I’ve read. And those actions gave consequences.

When I got cancelled the majority of my income disappeared. Crowdfunding is the only way doing Youtube can be profitable for a “controversial” youtuber today. Ad revenue and sponsorships aren’t something that’s accessible to us.

Even after being banned on patreon, and having most of my income removed, I’ve kept losing financial support. It’s gotten worse and worse for each month, and over time I’ve seen a steady decrease. Not a steady increase. This is why I’ve tried getting better at asking for money over the past year, but sadly it’s been perceived by my community as if money is the only thing I care about. Not that I’ve been in crisis mode, ever since a year ago - when most people abandoned support when I got cancelled.

These videos weren’t fun to make, but at least they’re honest.

I asked for 600 monthly supporters, in order to keep the channel alive.

I got 250 in total.

Let’s see what happens after my latest video update. This is going to be my last try.
